USE
RICORDI MARMO is applied indoors on RICORDI MATERIA, finishing plasters and smoothing compounds based on hydraulic binders or lime, provided they are consistent and well finished. It can also be applied on smooth plasterboard surfaces, provided they are properly primed with a water-based, solvent-free, high-penetration microemulsion fixative such as MIKROS 001 and smoothed with a pigmented preparation filler primer FX 526.
APPLICATION
RICORDI MARMO is a ready-to-use product to be applied with a rounded-edge steel spatula in at least two coats.
layers until a smooth surface is obtained. After adequate preparation of the surface, apply a first layer
uniforming of RICORDI MARMO using crossed spatulas; the subsequent layers will be applied with the same
mode at intervals of approximately 4 hours (at 20°C RH 65%) taking care to let the product dry, and
however depending on the internal thermo-hygrometric conditions. After applying the last coat of product,
when this is still in the drying phase, in order to obtain the characteristic satin effect, it will have to be compacted
vigorously and smooth the surface until the desired degree of smoothness and polish is achieved.
In order to obtain an aesthetic result free from defects, the workmanship, especially in the last coat, must be
performed with the fresh-on-fresh technique to avoid the unpleasant aesthetic effect of product shots.
