Omega Alpha Kidney Plus is traditionally used in herbal medicines to help as an alternative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidney, skin and mucus membranes and to treat uncomplicated infections of the lower urinary tract.* This is a urinary antiseptic, diuretic and astringent which may help treat chronic inflammation of the bladder and kidneys.* It may help increase the muscle tone of the bladder wall and is useful for treating kidney stones.*

Dandelion A - rich source of potassium, a good general detoxifier for the body and a well-balanced diuretic because of its high potassium content.*

Sarsaparilla - Used in this formula for its diuretic properties.

Stinging Nettles - An excellent antiseptic that attempts to help with chronic urinary tract infections.* They help prevent and treat kidney stones.* They are a diuretic and act as an alkalinizing herb and therefore potentiate the effect of Uva ursi.

Poria cocos - A very good source of potassium, a very effective diuretic, has anti-bacterial properties and supports kidney function by acting as a tonic.

Alismatis plantago - An effective diuretic. It is effective in treating and preventing kidney stones and it tonifies the kidneys i.e. supports kidney function.

Cellulase - Breaks down the cell wall of each herb and increases the release of active ingredients.

Cautions:

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have heart disease, diabetes, high/low blood pressure, kidney, liver or gallbladder disorders, bowel obstruction, edema (swelling of hands, face and feet) or taking products containing diuretics. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble or hypersensitivity/allergy. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking anti-inflammatory or other enzyme products. Do not use if security seal is broken.
