The daemonic warlord Gelgus Pust seeks to poison the wondrous fount of life-giving water known as the Everspring, which lies beneath the ruined stronghold. Magically imbued with restorative properties, the Everspring grants vitality to the surrounding lands. Yet Pust would see it befouled with the toxic gifts of his master – Nurgle, Lord of Plagues. Only an ill-matched band of heroes and sellswords stands between the Prince of Sores and his final victory. To reach him, they must navigate a landscape that has been moulded and twisted according to Nurgle’s vile whims.

In Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, you and up to three friends take on the role of disparate heroes seeking to purify the corrupted Jade Abbey. Only by working together and balancing your strengths and skills can you hope to survive. With each journey, you will uncover the devious plans of the daemonic Prince of Sores. Your missions will take you to dangerous locations full of peril. Still, along the way you'll gain experience and loot that will aid your quest as you go, allowing you to eventually take on the strongest enemies – like Gelgus Pust himself.

This cooperative board game is quick, satisfying, and easy to learn, yet offers enough compelling choices and growing complexity to challenge even experienced gamers. The lay flat map book means that you can set up in as little as five minutes, allowing you to dive straight into the action. Each hero offers different skills and abilities, and randomly drawn quest cards ensure no two games are the same.
