The leather that is stiched around this core, is naturally tanned without chemicals. The saliva production softens the leather bit and makes it more pleasant for the horse. In addition, we notice that mares like the taste of the leather and therefore accept the bit well.

Tip: Apply olive oil to the leather bit regulary to keep it supple.
