Inviting these skillful hunters into your yard helps control rodent populations naturally, while allowing you to enjoy the beauty of different birds. This home is artfully designed to meet the needs of small owls or kestrels. The rectangular shape of the roost creates plenty of nesting space, with small openings on each corner of the base for drainage. The 3" diameter entry allows these birds passage, while remaining protected from the elements with the sloped roof and significant overhang. An image of a screech owl clinging onto a branch is burnt into the front panel of the home, for added design on the piece. Ventilation holes near the top of the shelter provide temperature regulation, for the comfort and safety of the nestlings, while a unique thumbscrew at the base of the front panel keeps the home securely latched. Open this panel for nest checks, or to move the included sliding baffle. This wooden panel rests within grooves on the sides of the home, and can sit at the bottom of the roost to protect eggs and nestlings during maintenance. At the end of the season, or if you opt not to house owls, slide the panel upward and use the included wooden tabs to keep it in place, blocking the entry hole. Three predrilled holes at the top of the home enable you to securely mount it to a post or tree. The wooden body adds a natural charm to the piece, and its durable hardware and beautiful image create a lasting roost. Great...but could be a bit better
Style: 2-Speaker
Almost perfect. Easy to screw apart and insert wires to both the back and to the front, or do what I did and screw the wire onto the back and then use a banana plug for the front. My only complaints are that the back piece sits off the wall a little, so the plate doesn't fit flat and tight against the wall. It leave a little gap around the edges. The other complaint is that the back piece has some flex in it, which makes me nervous when I push plugs into and out of it. I think it probably will hold up fine, but it feels a little oogy to push banana plugs into it and see it flex. Comes with all the hardware needed. Just need a philips screwdriver and wire cutters and you're good to go. Super easy to use, and way better than the spring loaded connections it replaced.

Really good wall plates

These plates came on time, packaged well and are "doing the trick". The plates, while fairly light-weight are perfect for my new system. They installed into the junction boxes very easily, hold the wires snugly and the banana plugs are perfect for my usage.
If you need a nice, easy to install, good quality, wall plate, I would highly recommend these.
