This organic and elegant ring is rich in texture, with the added luxury of 18ct gold  adorning its band. This ring is a UK size R and measures 2.5mm in width and 1.5mm deep. The organic texture that surrounds the outside is emphasised by a deep patination and is the perfect contrast to the high shine, mirror finish of the interior and edges. Smart and sophisticated, this ring is perfect for everyday wear, to be dressed up or down, or to be added to a stack of existing rings. This ring has been made as a one off but if you would like one made to order then please get in touch and allow approximately 6 weeks for delivery.

This is part of the Artefacts collection which is characterised by deep, organic textures, oxidisation and the added elegance of splashes of gold. It is opulent and contemporary yet reminiscent of something quite ancient. A nod to the past brought into the present.

This ring comes full hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office as your assurance of quality, and will arrive gift boxed with care instructions and a free polishing cloth.

Answers Many Questions about Naval Developments
Format: Hardcover
The history offers a detailed and well organized account of the Royal Navy as it transitioned from sail to steam. Coverage included personalities, technology, tactics and strategy. The combination provided a complete appreciation of the dynamics at play, some unexpectedly. The details might be a bit much for a casual reader but offered plenty of avenues for research not available or compiled in one source. I look forward to the final volume, which should describe another watershed era.

Great Book with a different perspective
Format: Hardcover
This will be a short review of a very long book. I ordered the book expecting more of a history of the British Navy, but this is more of a history of Britain with respect to its navy. It is still excellent and authoritative, just different than I expected. I really appreciate a somewhat different perspective than I have found in some other books. For example, any discussion of Jackie Fisher I have read previously seemed to border on the hagiographic, whereas here he seems to get a very evenhanded appraisal. A great book, highly recommended.
