About the work

This limited edition refers to Gerard Byrne's installation, A man and a woman make love (2012) which recreates a discussion held on the 27 January 1928 by members of the Surrealist group of artists and writers, subsequently published in their journal La Revolution surrealiste no. 11. Using actors, Byrne re-staged the discussion in the form of a TV play with a live studio audience, depicting the characters with their eyes closed, representing themselves contemplating a Surrealist female muse.

Sturdy and Reliable
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Very sturdy and holds up well with regular use. It feels solid and well-made, not flimsy or like it’s going to wear out quickly. Definitely something you can rely on without worrying about it falling apart.

"Keep On Holding On" assist.
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Magnet is powerful indeed . The velcro strap is quite long and I have not figured out how to shorten it without cutting it. Great for hoses, ropes, and pull alongs. Temporary use as hold down in a truck bed for lite items.
