Main Ingredients: Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) dried root, Saint John's Wort (Hypericum Perforatum) and California Poppy (Eschscholzia Californica) dried herb and flower, Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita) and Hops (Humulus Lupulus) dried flower, Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) dried leaf. 

Valerian Root also known as Valeriana officinalis, Common Valerian, European Valerian, Valeriana and Allheal. Valerian is a perennial plant, native to Europe and parts of Asia. It grows in meadows and woodlands within moist, temperate climates and has since been naturalized in North America. The root system consists of a vertical rhizome and an abundance of smaller rootlets, which are harvested and dried at temperatures less than 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

Saint John's Wort  is a perennial herbaceous plant up to 30 - 100 cm high. Rhizomes and roots are underdeveloped, unbranched. The leaves are oval or ovoid, with translucent glands in the form of black dots. Petals are strewn with black-brown or purple dots, especially around the edge. The plant blooms in June-August. The fruit is a three-celled oblong-ovate capsule. Seeds are small, cylindrical, and brown. The fruits ripen in September-October.

California Poppy is a typical species of herbaceous plants of the genus Eschscholzia. The stem is straight or branched, smooth, sometimes bluish in color. The root is rod, powerful. A flower is solitary with yellow to orange petals. California Poppy blooms from February to September. The flower closes at night and in cold windy weather, and opens again in the morning, but may remain closed if it is cloudy weather.

Chamomile is an annual herbaceous plant. The plant is widespread in Eurasia and North America. The root is rod, slightly branched, light brown in color. The stem is up-straight, 15 to 60 cm high. The leaves are alternate, sessile, somewhat widened at the base. Marginal flowers are with white bent tongues, having a length of 8 to 14 mm and a width of 2.5 to 3 mm; at the end of flowering, the tongues bend down. The inner tubular flowers are golden yellow, much smaller than the reed ones, with a five-lobed nimbus. The fruits are cylindrical, blunt, slightly bent small achenes.

Hops is a perennial dioecious herbaceous climbing vine. The rhizome is fleshy, creeping; strongly branched thick roots grow from it, which then become a developed root system. The underground part of the plant hibernates and lives up to 20 years. Hop stalks grow rapidly up to 20 cm per day. The leaves are long-leaved, opposite, very rough, with glands, coarsely serrated on the edge. The flowers are small, same-sex. Capitate spike-shaped inflorescences are formed in the form of dense cones on female plants, consisting of 20-60 flowers. Male inflorescences are leafless panicles. The fruit is a single-seeded keeled flattened nut. The plant blooms in July-August, the fruits ripen in August-September.

Holy Basil is a plant in the family Lamiaceae that is native throughout the Eastern World tropics and widespread as a cultivated plant and an escaped weed. It is an up straight, much branched subshrub, 30-60 cm tall with hairy stems and simple, opposite, green leaves. Leaves have petioles, and are ovate, up to 5 cm long, usually slightly toothed. The purplish flowers are placed in close whorls on elongate racemes.

Strength: Dry plant material / solvents ratio 1:3 w/v.
