Technical Specifications

• Total capacity 3.3 Liters with 1.5 Liters of filtered water.

• Increase waters pH to 8.5-10, depending our source water. Adds potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium in the correct ratio and balance.

• ORP readings typically be can around -200 but this can vary higher or lower depending on your source water.

• Molecular Hydrogen in 200-300ppm

• We recommend changing your filter every 150 Liters for optimal alkalinity, antioxidants & hydrogen. Filters can last longer but you won’t be receiving optimal antioxidants or hydrogen.

Alkaline Vs Alkaline Ionized Water

Cerra Water is much more than just regular alkaline water and in fact is Alkaline Ionized water which is where most of the health benefits actually come from. But what is the difference between alkaline water and alkaline ionized water?

Alkaline water is only water with an elevated pH and can be easily achieved by adding simple minerals such as calcium, baking soda or even other chemicals to the water to raise the pH of water. While regular alkaline water may have a high pH of 8.5 and above it does not necessarily provide many health benefits which are commonly associated with alkaline ionized water. Many alkaline water pitchers primarily add large amounts of calcium to increase the pH. They typically add too much cheap calcium which your body cannot absorb which can create a strain on your body having to process out these excess minerals.

Alkaline Ionized water is much different, the main difference being in the ionizing process. Ionizing water adds negative hydroxyl ions to the water and molecular hydrogen to the water creating micro clustered water that is super hydrating with anti-oxidants.  These antioxidants can be measured through the negative ORP meter. We can prove Cerra Water® has an abundance of negative electrons which are our antioxidants as well as our molecular hydrogen. This ionizing process also breaks the water up into smaller clusters that can be up to 3x smaller than regular water molecule clusters in an organized hexagonal pattern. These smaller water clusters are much more readily absorbed by our cells due to their size and the fact they have the negative ORP. Water with a negative ORP acts as magnet with our cells for better absorption, hydration and better assimilation the alkaline minerals found in Cerra Water.

Water You Can Trust – Safe Plastic

Another cornerstone of what makes the Cerra Water Pitcher so great is the quality of plastic it uses. Many people understand poor quality plastic can leach harmful chemicals into the water so many people look for BPA free plastic or glass. Cerra Water is not only BPA/BPS free but is also Food Safe grade plastic which is identifiable by the knife and fork symbol. Every Cerra Water Pitcher has the type of plastic marked on it (SAN 7) as well as the Food Safe logo (knife and fork symbol). This is the closest type of plastic to glass without the weight and breakage of glass. Every type of plastic should have these identifying marks to assure its safety and quality.

Imitation alkaline water pitchers frequently claim to be BPA free but have BPS instead which is just as toxic. If a plastic does not contain the plastic type identifier or the Food Safe Logo then it is not guaranteed to be safe. Without these logos imprinted on the plastic you really have no clue what type of junk plastic is being used even if it claims to be BPA free.
