H&C^® WATER-BASED SOLID COLOR CONCRETE STAIN is a water-based stain that provides long-lasting, durable and a decorative finish to interior or exterior concrete and masonry surfaces. H&C^® WATER-BASED SOLID COLOR CONCRETE STAIN is highly resistant to pool chemicals.

Shower walls (Microcement wall and shower fine, x fine, coarse): 2x layer Microcement Consolidator, 2 layers Poly seal gloss, 1 layer Hi wear. 

Shower floors (Microcement floor fine, x fine, coarse): 2x layer Microcement Consolidator, 2 layers Poly seal gloss, 1 layer Hi wear. 

Optional 3d layer of Microcement consolidator for better color enhancement blocking. 

The combination of the Consolidator and the Poly seal produce a hardended matrix within and overtop of the microcement that will block the Hi wear oil based product from color enhancing the finish. Often small areas will still color enhance and this is typical of our system, and is a benefit of the Hi wear ensuring that your entire shower is water tight. 

Countertops (Microcement floor fine, x fine, coarse): 3x layer Microcement Consolidator, 1 layer of Poly WB two component sealer, 1 layer Hi wear) Allow Poly wb to dry overnight, and do not apply Hi wear more than 18 hrs after applying Poly wb. 

Microcement consolidator and poly seal can be applied as the previous layer is dry. The Hi wear can be applied to poly seal anytime after the poly seal has cured a min of 12 hours. There is not overcoat window for Poly seal. 

This product is used and comes diluted 50-50 with water, and is generally not used as full strength in our systems.
