Formation & Characteristics
Formed naturally in a vertical generator tower habit, this smoky quartz displays color produced when natural radiation from surrounding rock activates color centers around aluminum impurities in the crystal. Color ranges from pale, wispy tones to darker, more translucent areas, with internal rainbow iridescence visible in light. The piece remains in a raw, unpolished form, retaining natural terminations and growth patterns.
