Product Information:
Released in 2002, the Panasonic SJ-MJ55 is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
It supports MDLP.
It features audio output via a speaker / battery charging stand. Playback via the speakers is possible using only a gumstick battery, and does not require an AC adapter.
It weighs 69 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
* Note that an AC adapter is only required in order to charge the gumstick battery when the player is mounted in the speaker / battery charging stand. 
** Note that the external battery case can only be connected directly to the player itself, and cannot be used in conjunction with the speaker / battery charging stand.
