The IDX VL-2X is a sequential desktop charger for V-mount batteries of both lithium-ion and Ni-Cad chemistries. It's also a power supply, featuring a 4-pin XLR power output that can be used at the same time as when a battery is being charged. So you can charge a battery and power a camera, light, or other device at the same time. It's also fanless, so operation is quiet.
The VL-2X automatically switches to the second battery when done charging the first. Internal safety features protect both the battery and charger from serious damage should faulty or misused batteries be placed on charge. Furthermore, charging will automatically stop if the battery reaches an overvoltage condition.
The VL-2X has a compact and lightweight design, coming in at just under 1 lb. It features desktop feet and also a flip out Kickstand for ultimate support in holding two batteries.
The VL-2X supports worldwide 100-240V power input and comes with a North American AC power adapter.
