The filter cage allows for 30% more intake surface areas along with an aluminum back plage for added strength. Also equipped is a sealing ring to reduce contaminants from entering into the engine. On top of that, the element has a 3-Layer triple dendsity dry filter element for maximum air filtration. Kit comes with all the hardware needed for a true bolt on installation.

So over $70. down the drain for me. The company refunded me for all 3 items. They stand behind their product. Perhaps I have a sensitivity or something of an allergy to an ingredient or 2 in the formulas. I followed instructions and it was after about a week and a half of use I just had to stop. I have always had sensitive skin.
