This 250A Egis contactor is perfect for reducing installation costs and weight by eliminating large cable runs to manual switches through robust remote switching of high-ampere engines and auxiliary loads.

Applications:

  • Ensure flawless operation for the life of the installation with a hermetically sealed contactor sealed against dust & moisture Intrusion.
  • High Contact Voltage Rating easily supports 12 or 24 Vdc control voltage applications while also supporting higher switching voltage applications up to 48 V and well beyond.

  • Ignition is protected and safe for installation in closed compartments with potential explosive gases
  • High Electrical Switching Endurance delivers 6,000 cycles at 250A or 450V and 100,000 cycles at 250A/14V
  • High Interrupt Current Capability - safely able to open in a locked starter situation (up to 1,500 A @ 14 Vdc)
  • Bullet-proof Construction - sealed device, high-temperature materials for engine compartment applications, and stainless self-locking hardware.

That said, over time they do soften up a bit and start to mold better to your body, which helps. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone who likes big, firm pillows, but they’re probably not the best choice for people who prefer something softer or lower.

Odd, but nice pillows...

These pillows are nice, but strange for me. ..I purchased 2 in queen-size. They are slightly longer than I prefer but doable..and have an odd soft yet firm texture. When you lay the head down ..it sinks into the pillow, but each side comes up. So you have these big sort of firm soft, fluffy pillow ends on each side of your face. If you're a side sleeper, you will automatically try to punch one of the ends down a bit, for the most part, that will be useless. So you will probably end up trying to angle it a bit so that you end up sort of sleeping on the corner sections. (This was for the queen size, for me. The standard may be better.) Also, there really no cool side. If you flip it..it might feel cool for about 2 seconds, but that's it. They are very nice pillows, but I just know I will be ordering something else in the future.
