Mita Corsini Bland is a very accomplished watercolorist, perhaps best known for her numerous and striking illustrations of interiors. Her interior subjects illustrating the work of many luminaries of today’s decorating world are the focal point of the 2009 book on the famed American decorator,Sister Parish.
She has painted many commissions for private clients that include members of the Forbes family and the former mayor of New York,Michael Bloomberg. From the 1980’s onward she painted numerous watercolors for the venerable fabric company, Brunschwig & Fils
