He fell so much in love with this naked, simple light bulb that inspired him to create his first lamp - the Bulb.
The designer's thought was that light bulbs have become such an important part of our lives that we should honour it duly.
This extravagant lamp, reduced to its light source, is made of blown crystal glass and a high gloss chromed socket holding a conventional light bulb.
