The 2021 Chardonnay is layered with varietal fruits of peach and pear. A subtle touch of spice from the oak, and a clean mineral finish makes this a complex, yet easy to drink wine.

The fruit is sourced from our Northern Clare Valley vineyards, where warm days and cool nights are perfect for ripening full fruit flavours with elegant acid.

Some good rain events toward the end of winter and into the start of spring provided a healthy start to the growing season, with soil profiles observed at maximum moisture levels still at the start of November.  Vines put on strong early growth, and grapes developed with characteristic fresh fruit flavours.
