Oushak has been a production center of Turkish rugs since the 15th century. Since then, the most famous manufacturers of ottoman times has worked in Oushak. A special heirloom wash produces the subtle color variations that give rugs their distinctive antique look. This is a genuine hand knotted cut pile rug, not tufted, hooked, or machine made. All we do is hand knotted.
