Description:

DUAL PT2399 DELAY W/ FEEDBACK SWITCH

The Space Madness is a dual PT2399 based delay pedal that can do short and long delay times well with a noise out switch that is highly controllable plus an LFO that wobbles the repeats. What’s a noise out switch you ask? Well, we officially called it the History Eraser Button, but what it does is this; it sends the pedal into self oscillation but it also connects to the Time knob through the Whoosh switch which causes spaceship like blasts and stretched out whirling sounds. The Feedback control decides how quickly all of this happens and works interactively with the mix and repeats knobs. What does this mean exactly? Well, if the repeats control is set to only one cycle, it will take the History Eraser Button longer to engage self oscillation than if that same control was set right below infinite repeats. And while we’re discussing the effect of the repeats knob, it’s important to know that Depth and Rate controls the LFO which is basically a vibrato circuit for just the repeats. When set low, it can simulate the wow and flutter effect associated with a tape echo but when cranked you get maddening sea sick sounds that get extra gnarly when paired with the History Eraser Button. Officially, the Rate knob controls the speed of the LFO and Depth is basically a mix control. Oh, and the on/off LED blinks in time with the LFO speed to give a helpful visual representation. Also worth mentioning is the bypass footswitch is either regular latching style or momentary depending on whether you tap it or hold it down and release it. This is helpful for quick passages or short little bits of delay.  The Space Madness is setup as a buffered pedal which means the repeats will never be abruptly cut off after disengaging like they would with a true bypass setup. This also allows the History Eraser Button to work in bypass which is a really helpful trick for the shoegaze and noise rock crowd.

    Fun toy
    Color: Orange
Well made. The puppies love it, BUT it is too hard for them at an early age ( 2 1/2 months. They ended up grabbing the rope. As they got 5-6 months they were fine. Make another model 1 inch smaller and half as hard Belgian Malinois & Doberman.

    Durable & great deal
    Color: Orange and Yellow
My foster German Shepherd has a jaw that's locked and loaded but love these cause I can play tug of war or fling it way across the yard. He's chewed or busted every ball he's received except these. I'm loving them. Very durable, bounces too really well and I can find it easily with the colors.

    Small balls and came apart
    Color: Orange and Yellow
My dog loves them; these are my first set of this type of toy. Good quality materials, but the knot in the rope came undone and the ball came off in 3days. I had someone fix and re-tie and it has held up so far. The next set I’ll get in a larger size, they’re a tad small for my dog’s mouth.
