Our popular Door stop with a slot now also in Sapele hard wood, with a made to measure door slot and carved hand grips or a rope hoop handle.
Sapele wood is renowned for its rich reddish-brown hue, fine texture, and striking grain patterns. Known for its durability and resistance to rot and insects, it is a brilliant, darker alternative to our Oak Slot Doorstops.
Designed especially with Patio and Bifold doors in mind. Our Door stop with a slot doesn’t have to rely on its weight to hold a door, its ingenious design is incredibly effective at holding the door open as long as we make sure the 3 measurements are correct for the individual door.
As you can see from the pictures, there is also the option to have it engraved, with perhaps a house name or number, family name etc..... the personalisation is up to you, what ever you want, *we will make it work.
Your new doorstop also has low profile rubber feet recessed into the base to keep it off the ground, and help it grip the floor, also allowing an air gap beneath the doorstop.
We leave a 10mm air gap (see the diagram with the product pictures) between the base of the door and the bottom of the slot in the doorstop, and the slot is lined with a black soft rubber/neoprene padding (neoprene rubber will not mark your door) to protect your lovely door.

Doorstop Measurements
The doorstop in the diagram is the standard size, a chunky 200mm deep and 200mm wide, with a height of 250mm, this doorstop weigh's approx 7 - 8 kg.
We can make these to any size, so if you would like something bigger and heavier than the sizes listed, please contact us to let us know your sizes.
To make this fit your door, all we need from you is: (see diagram in product pictures)
Measurement A. The measurement from the base of your door to the floor.
Measurement B. The thickness of your door.
Measurement C. This is the height of the slot, standard size is 80mm.
Using the Measurement A, B & C boxes, please provide your specific dimensions, then any extra info in the "Extra info" text box provided.
As you will see, the price of the door stop increases incrementally as the size increases.
