In addition, these types of polystyrene hives don’t use crown boards or inner covers. Instead, they have an in-built feeding system for sugar syrup and fondant or straight raw sugar.

A complete high-density polystyrene (EPS) Langstroth hive from leading manufacturer Paradise Honey consists of the following features:
