Performance Design

The Mad Dog Traction Skim Board is a great fat teardrop design so is perfect for skimming. The nose is tucked in so as to not catch. This is of critical importance when launching, throwing the board down on the sand. The tail has a bulb shape. This distributes your weight over the board giving more speed. The underside of the board has rolled rails. This keeps you skimming smoothly. The board has rocker, a gradual rise at the front and flip in the tail, so you get speed for tricks and spins while also helping prevent stacks. The quality 5 ply wood construction uses hardwoods with waterproof glue so you get durability.
