When the valves are closed, the SwitchPath™ produces a refined, aggressive howl while remaining full-bodied and powerful – no congested, metallic sounds when you're on it. At cruising, interior acoustics are close to stock with no drone. AWE SwitchPath™ tech responds perfectly to the many transmission settings and shift points of the G87. Drop the hammer with the valves closed and SwitchPath™ sings a proper M anthem. If you were to leave the valves closed at all times after equipping SwitchPath™, we wouldn’t blame you — it’s that good… all of the time. Open the valves and the S58’s roar is uncorked. Sport and Sport+ modes achieve the ultimate contrast in behavior when compared to comfort driving modes (aka valves closed). In Sport mode, the exhaust note is powerful, clean, and aggressive. In Sport+ mode, the same aggression applies… but with grin-provoking burbles. Thanks to the precision X-pipe, the rasp is still kept in check while allowing the exhaust note to reach full aggression. The AWE SwitchPath™ comes with quad 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips available in chrome silver or diamond black. The exhaust also features inlet adapters to mate to the factory mid-section. When pairing AWE Mid-Pipes to the SwitchPath™ or Track Edition Exhausts, these adapters are not needed. Due to varying cut points, AWE Exhausts are not guaranteed to mate with another manufacturer’s mid pipes. Okay for the price

I looked a long time for a quality looking set for a budget price.
I'm thankful that this is an option for the price range. Especially if you are on a budget, this is a good option. I know for the budget, you won't get the top-tier quality.
However, when I got it, I wasn't too impressed by the quality. Though I'm thankful for the price, I felt this looked a little too cheap. The block was also far too flimsy. I was worried about removing and replacing the knives because the block "frayed" quite a bit. There were "crumbs" of block over the top that fell off the knife after you pulled it out. So I was very worried about touching the knife at all because I was worried about scratching or damaging the knives themselves.
The knives themselves, though, I wasn't too worried about. They were the exact style I was looking for minus the color. I was looked for a more black or black-wash stainless steel like the ones I have now.
I returned it the next day so I didn't try it out or take pictures. In the future, though, I'm now more willing to pay more for better quality.
