FAQ

Q: Do these shafts come fletched or bare?

A: By default, these shafts are sold prefletched and cut to your requested length. White .204 nocks and 50-grain stainless half-outs are included. We also offer bare shaft options for the DIY bowhunter.

Q: How do I choose the correct spine?

A: Spine depends on draw weight, arrow length, and point weight. Use our Spine Selector Tool or email us at [email protected] with your bow specs, and we’ll help you pick the right spine for your setup.

Q: Will you cut the arrows to my length?

A: Yes. We offer free arrow cutting in 0.25″ increments. Just select your desired finished shaft length before checkout. Keep in mind the standard nock adds 0.25″ and the half-out adds 0.50″ to total length.

Q: Are the shafts compatible with standard .204 inserts and components?

A: Yes. These shafts use a .204″ (5 mm) inner diameter, which is compatible with most .204 ID components, including aftermarket half-outs and outserts. Our included 50 gr stainless half-outs fit seamlessly.

Q: What tolerances can I expect?

A: All shafts are built to ±0.003″ straightness and ±2 gr weight tolerance. GPI and OD vary slightly by spine, and all specs are listed in the Tech Specs tab above.

Q: What’s your return policy on cut shafts?

A: Because custom-cut arrows are made to order, cut shafts are non-returnable unless there’s a manufacturing defect. Uncut shafts can be returned within our standard return window if they are unused and in original packaging.

Q: Can these be used for both hunting and target shooting?

A: Absolutely. The thick-walled .204″ profile delivers excellent penetration and wind performance for hunting, while the tight tolerances and 3K woven carbon construction make them ideal for 3D and target shooters.

It's How Wars End That Become Important Afterward
Format: Paperback
The twentiety century taught us a lot about wars and how they end. World War I showed us that making strong demands on the defeated (who didn't admit defeat to their own people) set the stage for the next big war. World War II was fought until the Unconditional Surrender of the Germans and Japanese. Something that thinkers still debate as having made them fight all that harder. VietNam was fought with no clear end in sight, and "another VietNam" entered our language. The first Gulf War was ended when Colin Powell and Bush II debated how to end the war. They stopped before they had to go in and see what the Sunni's, Shiite's and Kurds made of the power vacuum left by the removal of Saddam would have created. Bush II is learning about this now. This is the second revised edition of this book, originally published in 1971 and then updated in 1991 and now 2005 to reflect happenings in new wars. Still some of the old wars had interesting insights that I didn't know before, such as how Finland, originally on Germany's side against Russia, made a peace with Russia and kicked the Germans out before they became a Russian province. Great Book.
