The Dinghy Boomstrut 44001 is manufactured and anodized in black only. It has a black webbing support sling that is fully adjustable and fits any boom. Suitable for dinghies with a maximum boom tip weight of 5kg. Works in conjunction with the existing kicker or rope vang fitted to the boat.

The boomstrut’s lightweight, low-profile design features two flexible coated fibreglass rods which provide the force to support the boom. Pulling the boom down with a conventional kicker causes the Boomstrut to flex; releasing straightens the rods, thereby lifting and supporting the boom.

Mast fitting can use existing luff groove

To eliminate drilling, the Boomstrut’s mast bracket can be slotted into your mast’s luff groove.
