The Worker Trousers are a casual style of trouser that work very well as an alternative to jeans all year round. They are gently fitted at the hip with a slight balloon around the thighs, which taper in towards the ankles. The construction features front pockets with facings, patch pockets, a waistband with belt loops and a choice of zip or button fly with binding finishings. The combination of the fit and construction is tried and tested and designed to be worn into the ground, just like the very best of vintage jeans.

Skill level: Intermediate.
Construction techniques: Concealed button fly or zip fly with binding detailing, side pockets, patch pockets, flat-felled seam, waistband & belt loops.

Sizing: Sizes XS2 - XL3

Suitable fabrics:
The Worker Trouser works very well in structured heavy to mid-weight twills, drills, denims and canvas fabrics. Lighter twills and denims are lovely in the summer and the lighter weight fabrics will give you a slightly looser fit.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

Very short and very good
Format: eTextbook
I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland. I really liked revisiting the theory in light of the advances made since then

I love VSI on Kindle
Format: eTextbook
The thing is they take a long time to read because of the look up feature. It's like reading a book in the Library of Congress.

There are few who are capable of telling the story ...
Format: Paperback
There are few who are capable of telling the story of plate techtonics including critical details. Peter Molnar is one of those chosen few who can deliver such a story succinctly and precisely.

Very nice, but very short, book on the subject.
Format: Paperback
This is a very nice, but very short, book on the subject. I learned quite a bit and enough to delve into structural geology and related subjects.
