Ed Wiener was a Modernist jeweler who started his career in 1940’s Greenwich Village and was active until the late 1980’s. He was known for his modernist forms, abstract expressionism, and Bauhaus influences. Because this necklace is constructed in gold, it probably dates to the late 1960’s or 1970’s.
