Sachtler Video 18 S2 Head System with ENG 2D Aluminum Tripod & Ground Spreader

The Sachtler Video 18 S2 Head System with ENG 2D Aluminum Tripod & Ground Spreader provides you with a complete tripod system featuring a 100mm ball-leveling fluid head. This Video 18 S2 combination supports camera rigs up to 44 lb while still operating smoothly at lower drag settings when using DSLRs and other lighter-weight cameras. A two-stage aluminum 100mm-bowl tripod with ground-level spreader and a padded carrying bag round out this combo.

• Video 18 S2 Fluid Head

  Able to handle DSLR setups weighing four pounds up to ENG and digital cinema cameras weighing 40 pounds, the Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head can fit into a wide range of video productions. Sixteen steps of counterbalance and seven steps of pan and tilt drag, along with locks for each axis, let you easily customize the response of the Video 18 S2 to fit your application, be it studio or field production.

  The top of the Video 18 S2 head is dominated by a sliding balance platform which accepts Sachtler's convenient Touch & Go quick release camera plate. Once the plate is secured, the entire platform adjusts to balance your camera setup. At the front of the platform, parking spaces for 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and registration pin screws are available for when they are not being used. Both sides of the head feature rosette mounts for pan handles. A right-side pan handle is included with the Video 18 S2. The base of the head terminates in a 100mm bowl mount for coupling with industry standard tripods, jibs, sliders, or other grip equipment that feature 100mm bowls.

• DA-100 ENG 2D Aluminum Tripod Legs

  The DA-100 ENG 2D two stage, dural aluminum ENG tripod, features a 100mm / 4" bowl, tube diameter of 16mm (0.63"), and is fitted with the Sachtler quick clamping system.
  The DA-100 ENG 2D's double extension provides greater stability, allowing an extended height with a payload of 77 lb., to give enough support for today's cameras, which are in demand in the news acquisition field.

• Spreader SP 100 On-Ground Tripod Spreader

  A On-Ground Spreader is chosen when shooting is performed on a level surface, such as studio, city streets, offices, sport fields and stadiums. It allows for rapid set-up and pull down by keeping tripod legs at an equal or preset distance relative to each other. Attaches directly to the feet at the bottom of a tripod and its arms are telescopic to allow extension of a tripod leg without detaching the spreader. Fits all 100mm bowl tripods (except DA-100 Short tripod)

• ENG 2 Padded Bag

  The Sachtler ENG 2 Padded Bag is a soft, water-resistant Cordura nylon tripod bag designed to carry various Sachtler tripods with fluid heads up to 35" long. The case can be carried by the interlocking handles or the attached, adjustable shoulder strap.
