Crafted from wood, this armchair has been upholstered with a vibrant design which beautifully combines art and black humour. Inspired by the unexpected, this armchair is perfect for creating a statement in any room.

The images for each product of this collection are selectively chosen by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari; they are then printed onto fabric using inkjet machinery designed specifically for large formats. A special heat treatment ensures the resistance of the print and the vividness of the colours. The boldly printed velour upholstery is finished off with shiny brass effect metal feet to add a metallic touch.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

TOILETPAPER is a magazine and creative studio founded and run by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari in 2010 .

Over the years, TOILETPAPER has become a wide-ranging project, that uses its own unmistakable irreverent style to approach different realities. The magazine TOILETPAPER is a bi-annual publication that explores various fields of design including fashion, installations and furniture.

“The magazine springs from a passion/obsession that Maurizio and I have in common. Each picture springs from an idea, even a simple one, and then becomes a complex orchestration of people who build tableaux vivants. This project is also a sort of mental outburst.” – Pierpaolo Ferrari

Founded in 1964, Italian lifestyle brand Seletti focuses on presenting design projects that showcase the creative characteristics synonymous with Italian excellence. Linking design to pop art in the most charming and irreverent manner, Seletti’s collections blend art with daily life icons.

Since its inception, Seletti has always followed its own rules. From iconic lighting and art de la table to statement objects and furniture, Seletti’s collection of irreverent pieces blends art with the everyday and are designed to make life more fun and exciting.

Seletti is now led by Stefano and Miria Seletti and has expanded into a range of collections embodying enthusiasm, passion, creativity, and experimentation.

Stefano has always believed in reinvention and works with a range of young Italian and international designers to evolve their designs. By also working with people outside of the design world, Stefano can look at the process from new angles, his unconventional and non-academic background lead him to break down barriers and journey towards a ‘new beauty. For Seletti, this is (r)evolution.
