Creamy Garlic Prawns with Lemon and Spinach
Ingredients:
- 500g Frozen Medium Prawns, thawed and peeled
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the thawed and peeled Frozen Medium Prawns to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the prawns from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well to combine.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Add the fresh spinach leaves to the skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until they wilt.
- Return the cooked prawns to the skillet and toss them in the creamy garlic sauce to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the prawns are heated through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve the Creamy Garlic Prawns with Lemon and Spinach over cooked rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
