XTT 212P voidaan käyttää sekä AC- ja DC:llä. TIG-/puikkohitsaus mahdollistaa hitsauksen lähes mihin tahansa materiaaliin. Kanttiaalto AC-lähtö ja teho pulssitus maksimoi tuottavuutta ja samalla vähentää lämmöntuottoa. Valtaosa teräksiä voidaan hitsata tasavirtatilassa nopeasti käyttämällä pulssitoimintoa. AC tila mahdollistaa alumiinin ja magnesiumin hitsauksen.
Kanttiaalto ja säädettävä taajuus maksimoi hitsausenergian ja tarjoaa korkean hitsausnopeuden yhdessä pulssituksen kanssa.

Koneen mukana tuleva TIG-poltin kaukosäätimellä sekä jalkapoljin helpottavat alumiinin hitsausta.
