The Choroi Children’s Harp is a 7-string pentatonic harp crafted in Germany from a single piece of solid tone wood. Designed as an introduction to stringed instruments, it offers a clear, open sound that invites quiet listening and confident exploration.

Pentatonically tuned (d’–e’–g’–a’–b’–d’’–e’’), children and beginner adults can play freely without discordant tones. The balanced fifth tuning (g–d–a–e–b) creates a stable tonal structure that supports improvisation, storytelling, and simple melodic work.

Unlike larger harps, this instrument is intentionally built without a closed resonating chamber. The open design produces a delicate, transparent tone that encourages attentiveness rather than volume. Seven parallel steel strings are arranged in a straight row, making the instrument visually clear and approachable for young hands.

Choroi recommends this harp for children approximately six years and older, depending on readiness. It is well suited for home music, classroom settings, and moments of focused, contemplative play.
