Gnomes Hat by TCCBefore formally introducing this prop, let's discuss an old hackneyed topic in magic. Before formally introducing this prop, let's discuss an old hackneyed topic in magic.It is something that is often encountered when performing routines that use classic magic props, but it is often ignored: What in the world is this thing?
We do not mean merely describing the appearance of the prop, e.g. that it is a wooden box, or a metal stick, or tube made of leather, etc. Rather, how do we explain to the audience the reason for the existence of this object? After all, no one in the world, apart from magicians, has seen something like this in their entire life.
We would have to keep a straight face and justify that this is some mysterious magical object. Even if the audience does not suspect that this is just a prop or a toy, it may very well cause the audience's reactions to be somewhat lacking.
Although this concept is fairly simple, it is also a very important and basic theory in magic: We need a plot or reason to rationalize the props themselves.
Several months ago, we received a routine submission, which perfectly embodies the interpretation of the above theory, and finally breathed new life to the classic prop we know as the 'Leather Cone'.
This wonderful idea comes from the Chilean magician Sebastian -- The Gnome's Hat.
The basic routine is as follows:
A small leather cone is displayed and you explain to the audience that this is the hat of a Gnome (Dwarf, Fairy, Elf) and it has some magical properties. Whenever you put a coin under the hat, it will teleport one by one. After all the coins have been teleported, a little gnome appears from the hat.
You can also adjust the order of the patter as needed and only reveal that the leather cone is actually a gnome's hat after the gnome appears.
Sebastian has rationalized the 'leather cone' and applies it to coin magic very innovatively. However, unlike most coin magic that requires a lot of skillful sleight of hand, this hardly requires any difficult sleights.
For the sleight lovers, one could further expand the routine and add one's favorite moves to the routine as one sees fit.
In addition to coins, the leather cone is also suitable to use in the classic 'Mini Ball and Cone' routine, using a small 1-inch ball and the classic methods.
In terms of craftsmanship, we found a skilled craftsman to hand sew the leather cones using black vegetable-tanned leather.
The little gnome is made by photocuring 3D printing, which is also one of the production methods used in model figures. The appearance structure of the gnome has been carefully designed by Sebastian, which is well incorporated with the routine, and perfectly captures the adorable features of the little gnome.
Sebastian's original routine is included online instructional video, as well as additional handlings by Jay Wang.
- Eye-catching Coin routine;
- No difficult sleight of hand required;
- Photo-curing 3D printed gnome;
- Hand-stitched vegetable-tanned leather cone;
- Online instructional video with multiple routines thought.

Very Modern Handsome Suit
Color: Grey, Size: 7 Years, Color: Grey, Size: 7 Years
This is an incredibly sharp looking suit for the little guy. Great price and features, too. I made a mistake in sizing up instead of down and first one was too sloppy on him and would need alterations. He is thin and very thin in the waist. There is a lot of adjustment with buttons in waistband and coat hides the bunching. This shirt and coat will easily take a fuller body than slim I believe. He loves posing in it and feels very classy. Best purchase for a formal suit that will last longer than most kids clothes size wise. Felt bad about returning but careful folding and packing got it good as new.

Sharp Looking Kids Suit With One Missing Piece
Color: Navy, Size: 7 Years, Color: Navy, Size: 7 Years
I ordered this suit for my 6yo son in a size 7 so he would have a little room to grow and get more wear out of it, and sizing is perfect. He did not need it for any specific occasion, he just wanted a suit because apparently kindergarteners sometimes wake up and decide they are businessmen now.
Let me start with the positives because there are a lot of them. This is a very well made suit. The jacket, pants, and dress shirt are all surprisingly nice quality. The fabric does not feel cheap or flimsy at all. The jacket has good structure, the buttons are well attached, the seams are clean, and all the little details like the collar and pockets look great. It honestly looks like a proper little formal suit.
The pants are nicely made as well and pair perfectly with the jacket. The white dress shirt underneath is also good quality and completes the whole look. Overall, it is a really sharp outfit and would absolutely work for special occasions like weddings, recitals, formal events, church, or family photos.
Now for the reason I am deducting one star. The listing specifically shows and mentions that this set includes a bow tie. That was actually the main reason I chose this particular suit over others. Some options only had a standard tie or no tie at all, but my son specifically wanted a bow tie.
Unfortunately, the bow tie was not included with mine.
That was definitely disappointing because it was one of the main selling points for me when choosing this set. Now I have to go find a separate bow tie that matches, which I was hoping to avoid.
That said, I do want to be clear that this issue does not take away from the actual quality of the suit itself. The suit is genuinely very well made and looks fantastic on him. If your child needs a suit for a wedding, formal event, recital, or something similar, this would absolutely work.
My son mostly just wanted a suit because he thinks it is cool, so now he has one and can show up to school looking like the smallest CEO in kindergarten.
Overall, this is a very nice quality suit set. I just wish the bow tie that was advertised had actually been included.

One size smaller is perfect!
Color: Navy, Size: 10 Years
This suit fit perfect but I did order one size smaller than my grandson normally wears. It is very well made and he can't wait to wear it in the wedding.
