Reproduction of Positive Vibes by Becky Thorns
Becky Thorns — "Positive Vibes" is a compelling example of contemporary graphic design that synthesizes the principles of mid-century modernism with a distinctly 21st-century sensibility. The work's composition, characterized by a bold diagonal thrust and a deliberate asymmetry, recalls the dynamic energy of 1950s and 60s poster art, yet its execution is distinctly contemporary, eschewing overt decoration for a stark, textural clarity. The primary subject, the phrase "Positive Vibes," is rendered in a heavy, blocky typeface that appears to be hand-drawn or distressed, a technique that imbues the piece with a sense of authenticity and human touch, a direct counterpoint to the uniformity of digital typography. This textural quality, combined with the limited color palette of off-white, dark charcoal, and a muted terracotta, creates a sophisticated visual harmony. The color temperature is neutral, allowing the warm undertones of the terracotta to provide a subtle, grounding counterpoint to the coolness of the charcoal. The contrast is medium, sufficient to ensure legibility and impact without creating visual tension. Historically, this work aligns with the tradition of typographic art that emerged in the 20th century, where the message itself becomes the artwork, a concept championed by artists like László Moholy-Nagy and the Bauhaus movement. In its simplicity and focus on positive affirmation, it also resonates with the spirit of the Modernist movement's emphasis on clarity and functionality. The piece is not merely decorative; it is an interpretive statement, a visual artifact that speaks to a cultural moment defined by a desire for calm, connection, and mindful intention. It is a testament to the enduring power of a well-crafted message and the ability of graphic design to function as a form of visual poetry. For more art by Becky Thorns click here.

This product is so amazing. Light weight, not greasy, and I don’t break out! It gives me an even glow and is so much better than supergoop!

An excellent product which goes on smoothly and can be used as a base for foundation or alone
This is a great sunscreen which smooths and protects my skin. It never becomes heavy or greasy and it protects my skin while improving it.

Great for Sensitive Skin
Color: Non-Tinted, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
My face has always been sensitive to sunscreens, so I have to be careful with what I use on my face. (Others can cause burning sensations). This sunscreen is great. I had no issues, and unlike other sunscreens, sweat running didn't cause my eyes to burn or water which was great.
Keeps my skin protected against the hot Florida sun, so it works!

And the crowd goes mild
Color: Tinted, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I had heard such great things but I’m really left a little disappointed. I got the light tinted version, and it’s much darker than anticipated. And the smell is not great. It kind of smells like my grandpa’s trailer and not in a nice, nostalgic way. As a sunscreen though, I have no complaints. The protection is great and at the end of the day that’s what I really need out of this.

Such a great new product from Sun Bum
New product from Sun Bum - love it! I gave it a try after getting a bit too much sun on my arms and chest at a soccer game and it worked great. So soothing and calming. Takes the sting off right away and reduces the redness. This will become a staple in my bag for me and the kids this summer.
