Aegis Mini 5 Mod

The Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 mod is a compact box mod with a 3200mAh built-in battery and 75W max output. This is the mod-only version. If you want the full setup with the Z Nano 3 tank and B Series coils included, the Aegis Mini 5 Kit is the one to go for. No external batteries needed - the 3200mAh cell charges in the mod and should get most vapers through a full day.

Three Modes

Mode

What It Does

VW (Variable Wattage)

You set the wattage, 5W to 75W

Power

Reads your coil and adjusts output

Bypass

Raw battery voltage, unregulated

VW is the one you'll use day to day. Power Mode handles the wattage for you if you'd rather not set it manually. Bypass sends battery voltage straight to the coil without regulation - only use it if you know what you're doing.

IP67 Build and Aegis Mini 5 Mod Specs

Zinc alloy body with PC panels and PU leather grip. IP67 means fully sealed against dust and handles water splashes - not submersion, but rain and spills are fine. The AS chipset fires instantly and keeps output consistent as the battery drains.

Why Choose the Aegis Mini 5 Mod

If you've already got a tank you're happy with, the mod-only version saves you paying for one you don't need. The 510 connection takes whatever you're running - sub-ohm tanks at higher wattages, MTL tanks at lower settings, or an RDA. The 0.1-3.0 ohm resistance range covers the lot.

The built-in 3200mAh battery is the main draw for a compact mod. No spare 18650s to carry, no external charger - just plug it in via USB-C. If you want more wattage and don't mind the extra size, the Aegis Legend 5 Mod runs 200W on dual 18650s with IP68.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
