Released in 1999, the Panasonic SJ-SW90MD is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
It is the second release in the Panasonic "Shockwave" line of portable MD players.
It does NOT support MDLP.
The body is made from titanium.
Extremely loud audio output; one source claims 13mW+13mW (unconfirmed).
It weighs 118 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
