Size small boys shorts run large
Size small shorts run larger than other size shorts from Nike and Under Armor. Bought size six shorts for my grandson who is average size and they were large in waist and length. The shorts are a stiff mesh fabric. I kept the shorts, knowing he will eventually fit him.
