Specifications:

What's In The Box?

  • (1) Suzuki Male Quick Connect
  • (1) Female Hose Quick Connect (Black)
  • (1) Wrench for tightening

Suzuki Installation:

  • Remove the Suzuki OEM plug cap from the engine cowling.
  • Install the Flush Port Quick Connect to the engine cowling by threading the part on until tight. 
  • Install the provided female Quick Connect to your water hose.

For further leverage, if necessary, apply the provided tool to the male quick connect collar. DO NOT over-tighten. Your outboard engine is now ready to be operated or flushed.

To flush, remove the secured cap by pushing in and turning counter clockwise to release and expose the male quick connector. Attach your Flushmaster hose or water source to the included female Quick Connect. Connect the female Quick Connect to the flush port. Reinstall the cap after finishing flushing.

I had to knock off a star because the handle is not quite as good as other Klein tools. The plastic is not as clear. The TIP-IDENT bottlecap marking is off-center and not fully printed. The bottle opener sticks out at a slight angle. This does not affect the performance, but it does detract from the novelty somewhat.

Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process).
