But that's not the iconic Superman, as many collectors prefer the classic red and blue. We couldn't give up on either versions of the suit. We decided to give our collectors the option of selecting the its color.
Superman has to be flying. To express this, we went for the "landing" pose. One thing we discussed was whether to have Superman with his heat vision eyes. If we were to include a switch-out head, that would increase the price as well as the production time. But if we were to give the optional addition of a head sculpt with the heat vision version, we could make all the versions, and collectors wouldn't have to bear the cost, if they chose not to.
