The WoodRiver® Bevel Edge Socket Chisels are the result of blending time-tested craftsmanship with modern innovation. Drawing inspiration from classic chisels made by Stanley, Keen Cutter, Buck Brothers, Swan, and Witherby, we've created a tool that meets the needs of today’s woodworkers.
Every detail of these chisels has been carefully considered for superior performance. The back is precision-ground to strict tolerances, reducing prep time when sharpening right out of the box. A smooth transition from the flat back to the socket ensures long, comfortable paring operations without the chisel lifting unexpectedly. The side bevels are swept back towards the centerline for excellent access to tight corners, making them ideal for dovetail work and intricate cuts. The resulting flat area (or "land") is consistently 0.7mm wide—narrow enough to fit tight spaces but wide enough to avoid discomfort from a sharp edge.
The WoodRiver 4-Piece Bevel Edge Socket Chisel Set includes chisels in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" widths. Expand your collection with additional individual sizes or complement them with the separate chisel tool roll.
Designed for balance and comfort, each chisel features a lightly finished hardwood handle fitted securely to the socket. These chisels are built to last and will quickly become your go-to tools for years of precise, enjoyable woodworking.
