Understanding the Emotional Depth of "A Tree in Late Autumn"
The Symbolism of Autumn in Schiele's Work
Egon Schiele's "A Tree in Late Autumn" captures the essence of the autumn season, symbolizing change and the passage of time. The bare branches of the tree evoke feelings of vulnerability and introspection. Autumn, often seen as a time of decay, also represents beauty in transience, a theme Schiele masterfully explores in this piece.Emotional Resonance: The Feelings Evoked by the Painting
This painting stirs deep emotions, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences with loss and renewal. The starkness of the tree against the muted background creates a poignant contrast, evoking feelings of melancholy and nostalgia. Schiele's ability to convey complex emotions through simple forms is a hallmark of his expressionist style.Artistic Techniques and Styles in "A Tree in Late Autumn"
Brushwork and Color Palette: A Study in Contrast
Schiele employs bold brushwork and a limited color palette to create a striking visual impact. The earthy tones of browns and ochres dominate the canvas, while splashes of deep reds and yellows hint at the vibrancy of life even in decline. This contrast enhances the emotional weight of the painting, drawing the viewer into its contemplative atmosphere.Composition and Perspective: The Unique Framing of Nature
The composition of "A Tree in Late Autumn" is both innovative and intentional. Schiele frames the tree in a way that emphasizes its isolation, inviting viewers to ponder its significance. The perspective creates a sense of depth, making the tree appear both monumental and fragile, a reflection of the human condition.Thematic Elements: Nature and Transience in Schiele's Art
Nature as a Reflection of Human Emotion
In Schiele's work, nature often mirrors human emotions. The tree, stripped of its leaves, symbolizes the rawness of human experience. This connection between the natural world and emotional states is a recurring theme in Schiele's oeuvre, making his art deeply relatable and impactful.Transience and Change: The Cycle of Life in Autumn
The theme of transience is central to "A Tree in Late Autumn." Autumn signifies the end of a cycle, reminding us of the inevitability of change. Schiele captures this fleeting moment, encouraging viewers to embrace the beauty of impermanence. The painting serves as a meditation on life, death, and rebirth.Historical Context: Schiele's Life and Artistic Journey
The Influence of Vienna Secession on Schiele's Style
Egon Schiele was heavily influenced by the Vienna Secession movement, which sought to break away from traditional artistic conventions. This influence is evident in his bold use of color and form. Schiele's work often challenges societal norms, reflecting the avant-garde spirit of his time.Personal Struggles and Their Impact on His Art
Schiele's tumultuous personal life deeply impacted his art. His struggles with identity, love, and mortality are palpable in "A Tree in Late Autumn." These experiences fueled his creativity, allowing him to express profound emotions through his unique artistic lens.Comparative Analysis: "A Tree in Late Autumn" and Other Works by Schiele

"A Tree in Late Autumn" shares thematic similarities with other landscape paintings by Schiele. His exploration of nature often reflects inner turmoil and emotional depth. Works like "The Lonely Tree" and "Autumn Landscape" also delve into themes of isolation and the beauty of decay.Contrasting Styles: Schiele vs. His Contemporaries

Delivers what it promises
I’m a fair skinned person who burns and freckles easily and in my 40’s. I also love being outside. I have worn spf on my face (and usually my hands) basically every day since I was 13 and because of that people always say I don’t look my age. Back then, only a 4 or 8 was available in face moisturizers, but I have always worn the highest that is recommended and usually face moisturizers are behind in meeting the recommendations so I have usually worn a full on sunscreen under my makeup. As the recommendations get higher it has been harder to find something that doesn’t look pasty, smell bad or interfere with makeup. I was using Eucerin spf 30 and Cera Ve spf 30 but I have wanted to increase spf to 50 because that is what is recommended now. I tried the Cera Ve spf 50 and was disappointed by how tacky it is and pasty it looks. I don’t even like wearing it alone to the beach because it’s so chalky white and sticky. Neutrogena healthy defense is alright but it has a scent and some chemicals that are not so good. It also is a pretty small bottle (1.7 oz) when you use it everyday on face and hands.
But THIS product has blown me away with its affordability and quality. It IS sheer. Easily blends in and disappears quickly into skin. It’s completely odorless. It’s not tacky or greasy—you feel moisturized but not sticky. It performs under foundation even better than the Cera Ve 30. Now, this doesn’t have the extra ceramides and vitamins that does so I’ll still be using that when I feel extra dry like in winter, or I might mix the two moisturizers, but this Solimo reef safe sunscreen will definitely be my daily face and hand sunscreen in the spring, summer and early fall. These are the days I go straight from work to the garden or the beach. I can quickly reapply over my makeup before I leave the house again feel fully protected while I’m out.

I believe equal to name brand rhyming with NitroGina
I believe it is equal to the name brand mentioned on the front side of the tube. It is 55 SPF Sun Protection Factor so it offers strong UV A and UV B protection which are the 2 ranges of sun rays that do the skin damage and burning.
It is an easily absorbed lotion that when rubbed goes into the skin and is not visible.
It feels good after being rubbed in in that it feels dry and not overly greasy or with no shine and sheen.
If you put on a shirt over your skin with lotion it will appear on the inside of a dark shirt but it will wash out right away when that shirt is washed.
It is a good product and offers burn protection to me in some clear-sky strong sun uses. Reapply after entering the pool or after an hour (all sunscreen labels say reapply after 80 minutes which I believe is per recommendations of the federal FDA or some medical studies).
I reapply often and I still get tanned but I do not want to burn.

Super impressed by this!
Love this sunscreen and will be reordering it. It’s sheer, light, invisible, gives me the protection I need for my middle aged skin and I can swear my complexion has gotten better since I started using it. I’m super impressed how it’s comparable to more expensive brands in quality without the high price tag. It’s made me start looking into other skin products I can purchase from the Amazon brand.

How is this SO good?
I'm a sunscreen enthusiast. I wear sunscreen every day, and I know how hard it is to find one that is actually pleasant to use.
It goes on like a white paste but it quickly blends in to the skin and becomes invisible. There is NO white cast after you rub it in. The initial white color makes it really easy to see where you have applied it.
The lotion is very moisturizing but it's also fairly lightweight feeling, and isn't greasy. My skin is usually on the dry side.
The smell is nice and neutral, some people might say that it has a bit of a "sunscreen" smell. But the smell is pretty faint and it doesn't linger. I find it to be pleasant, personally.
Additionally, I have used this in the water and I find it to offer excellent water resistance even though it doesn't form a heavy-feeling layer on the skin. This is particularly impressive to me. This sunscreen will definitely be a go-to for beach days. It's great for face and body!
The one caveat is that it tastes terrible if you get it in your mouth. So I definitely do not recommend eating it, lol. You might have this issue if you're particularly sweaty and the sweat drips down your face. In my experience many sunscreens do this, so I don't consider it to be a big deal.
I'd recommend this for anyone looking for cost-effective and lightweight sun protection. It's great on face and body.

Good product
It’s very comparable to the Neutrogena version. Its light on my face, does not leave a white cast, and doesn’t break me out. The price point is excellent compared to the name brand one. I go walking almost everyday and live in a sunny and hot area where the climate is hot all year round. I haven’t gotten burnt since wearing this sunscreen. Definitely recommend
*UPDATE*
This sunscreen gave me acne. I rarely breakout and I now have five pimples on my face. I do not recommend!!!
