Ultra-Compact Footprint: Measures just 14.2" x 8.5", weighing only 2.64 lbs, ideal for space-constrained applications where larger panels won't fit.
Pre-Wired for Easy Installation: Includes 9 feet (2743mm) of UL-approved 18AWG cable factory-installed into a fully sealed junction box, eliminating the need for additional connectors or field wiring.
Weather & UV Resistant Junction Box: Fully sealed junction box constructed with UL1703-compliant materials, ensuring long-lasting outdoor durability against moisture, UV exposure, and environmental stress.
5W Power Output for Micro Applications: Provides trickle charging and maintenance power for 12V applications including small batteries, garden lighting, remote sensors, bird feeders with cameras, gate openers, and portable electronics.
36-Cell Polycrystalline Design: Utilizes 36 miniature cells (78mm x 15.6mm) arranged in a 4x9 series matrix, delivering reliable 12V nominal power in an ultra-compact footprint.
UL Approved Cable: Features UL-approved 18 AWG cabling for compliance with safety standards and peace of mind.
No Bypass Diodes: Note that this panel does not include bypass diodes, making it best suited for unshaded, direct-sun installations (see note below).
Durable Construction: Built with high-transmission 3.2mm tempered glass, double-layer EVA encapsulation, and white polyester back cover with Tedlar for long-lasting outdoor performance.
600V System Compatibility: Maximum system voltage of 600V DC allows for flexible array configurations.
⚠️ Important Note: No Bypass Diodes
This panel (SPM005P-D) does not include Schottky bypass diodes. It is best suited for unshaded installations or single-panel applications. For shaded installations or series connections where shading may occur, consider a model with bypass diodes.
