The full colour, beautifully illustrated Modern Medicines from Plants: Botanical histories of some of modern medicine's most important drugs features information on plants from which we obtain modern prescription medicines. It outlines their historical uses as herbal medicines in the past two millennia, using primary sources, and describes how extracts from them, and their semisynthetic and synthetic derivatives, were developed to be today's therapeutic drugs and diagnostic chemicals. This book describes medicinal plants and their habitats, the diseases that their medicines treat, and the science of how they work. This amazing and unique book is a wonderful read for those with an interest in both herbal and prescription medicines. Written with authority by physicians and gardeners at the Garden of Medicinal Plants at the Royal College of Physicians, London, chapters detail the history and modern scientific research on plants and their medicines. It is very useful to physicians, pharmacists, herbalists, historians and gardeners, bringing together information from every discipline to make it a work of interest as well as reference. A Noticeable Upgrade from Regular Soaps
Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)
Leaves skin soft, smooth, and refreshed without dryness I’ve tried plenty of big retail soaps over the years, but this one stands out right away. The bar lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling noticeably smoother and never dry, which is a huge improvement compared to what I used before. The scent is clean and subtle, not overpowering, so it works well for everyday use. I did expect the bar to be a little bigger, but it has held up better than I thought it would, making it worth the price—especially since I picked it up during a sale. Overall, this is a quality soap that feels more refined than the usual options, and I’ll definitely keep it in my rotation.

My son and I really enjoy this soap. Not an overpowering smell and it lasts a decent amount of time...unlike other soaps

Works well
Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)
I just wanted to update my review as I have had more time to review the product. The presentation is well done and in a nice looking box. Initially it did not smell the best in the box but when it gets wet it has a mild smell that is pleasant. It has a great lather, the exfoliating beads feel good, and it does work well. Great product but the smell is mild.

Masculine Scent
Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)
Purchased to try something new. Very good product, smells nice and cleans well. However the scent did not last as long as hoped during the day. On the other hand, if you use it just before a date, it will be just right.

Really wanted to like this soap
Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)
I waited until I went through 5 of the 6 bars of soap in this pack. It was very well put together with each bar individually wrapped with a cellophane and a nice paper wrapper. The scent upon opening the box was pleasant. Sniffing each wrapped bar to get an idea of how they smelled left me a little skeptical. So here’s the pros and cons: PROS Small bars but they last a long time. 4 of the 6 are scrubbing bars, meaning they have exfoliating bits of walnut shells in them, which for me, blue collar worker, I really liked. Packaging is nice. CONS THEY ALL SMELL THE SAME! I don’t know why this is, but I can only attribute it to the packaging and them being so close together. Pretty disappointing. The walnut bits accumulate in the bottom of the tub and need to be rinsed down the drain. All in all, decent soap without any noticeable differences in smell. Good enough for one purchase, but I’ll be buying a different brand next time.
