An awesome collection of pieces from an early English, regency dessert set, made in England c1800-1815 by Coalport, and beautifully hand painted in the style of “William Billingsley”, there are four pieces a large tazza, two dessert plates and a comport or dessert dish, in a deep cobalt blue with a gold floral pattern over, each piece has a selection of gold encased cartouches that have such wonderful botanical painting, flower baskets with ornate and colourful bouquets, each basket has a slightly different weave, each bouquet has different flowers, all painted by hand with much skill, this pattern known as “759” is marked on these pieces that would have been part of a huge set used in a country house here in England during the early 19th century, great to see these pieces are still here, and in good order too, the four pieces seem to only have gold and pattern wear in places, a few tiny glaze imperfections, but these are in amazing condition for 200 years old, no chips or cracks either, beautiful pieces that can make a great display,
