Thanks to innovative engineering, this patent pending Bushed Shaft Rocker System increases valve train stability and durability while decreasing deflection and providing bolt-in convenience for LS1, LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads. The COMP Cams Bushed Shaft Rocker System improves valve train stability and durability by securing all eight rocker arms onto a single rocker shaft. Thin tri-layer rocker arm bushings reduce rocker arm deflection and eliminate the high Hertz loading that can occur in needle bearing equipped rockers. Reduced rocker deflection increases valve train stiffness, ensuring that your LS is more efficient and durable under high loads. COMP Cams engineers worked to ensure long-term valve train durability by perfecting rocker to valve stem geometry and provisioning for supplementary pressurized oiling via threaded ends on the rocker shafts. Additionally, each rocker shaft is Plasma Nitrided, further increasing the systems durability even when used with aggressive solid roller valve trains. Much thicker filter (more surface area), should filter better

First filter change at about 28000 miles. Original filter was pretty dirty but OK on intake side.
WIX filter is quite a bit thicker but fits my 2016 RAM 5.7L Hemi fine. Also cleaned out the bottom side of the air filter box.
The WIX filter is much cheaper than the Mopar and seems to have a similar construction but is much thicker. Assuming the filter media is the same, the WIX should in theory filter and breathe better (more surface area) - but I am no expert so.

Honestly I didn’t use it yet but just by inspection it. Looks very good. On thing I have to say is. Amazon did it again. Perfect. The outside box was a little dented and slightly crushed on the corner but the inside box that holds the air filter was perfect. Me being a delivery driver at one time am amazed that the packages always come delivered in perfect condition. I know how easy they can get damaged. Great job Amazon and the drivers and the whse and package dept. great job
Update, I just put the air filter in my Honda and it feels faster and more responsive. I will be buying this air filter again. I bought a spearhead air filter for my tundra , and it’s a good filter but I think I am going to switch to a kax filter for two reasons
First I said I put it in my Honda and it feels faster and responds quicker.
Second. I know it’s not a good reason but I like the color.
But I really feel the difference.
