Allan Ackerman is a true card expert. In addition to being one of the most respected card men in the world he has created many original routines and techniques that are in common use. This double length DVD combines his two previously released videos, The Las Vegas Card Expert and Every Move a Move, where he performs, demonstrates and explains many of his best creations. Allan also reminisces about Edward Marlo and gives his insight and advice on sleight-of-hand.

Routines performed and explained include:

Change of Mind:
A spectator thinks of one of five cards. You toss one of them into the pack and then spell her card to find it. The other four cards change to aces.

76 Collectors: A multiphase routine where a seven and a six are used to repeatedly produce a signed selection under impossible conditions. Impromptu Ultra Mental: A spectator names a card and when the deck is spread her card is the only one reversed.

Quick Coincidence: A prediction is placed on the table. A spectator selects a card and returns it into the deck so it is sticking out half way. The selected card matches the prediction and the two cards surrounding the selection are its two other mates.

Ackerman's Opener: More than an opener this is the act that Allan used when performing for magicians and laypeople. It is a flowing combination of routines where each phase recycles the deck for the next routine. You begin with Alex Elmsley's Brainwave, followed by Dai Vernon's Triumph, A Memorized Deck Routine, and close with the Super Cull.

Mixed-Up Blues: An ingenious self-working Oil & Water routine with blue backed and red backed cards. The Spectator Cuts Double: A spectator cuts the deck into four packets that are shown to have the kings on top and aces on the bottoms.

Gemini Mates: Spectators lose the four kings into the deck face up and when the deck is spread they are shown to find their queen mates.

Impromptu Paul Fox: Four spectators think of a card from packets of a shuffled deck and you divine their thought of cards. Marlo's Double Brainwave Update: A spectator names any card in a blue deck and the matching card is found to be the only blue backed card in a red deck.

The Vanishing Aces: Three aces vanish one at a time and re-appear face up in the deck. The fourth ace vanishes from the deck and appears on the table.

Reassembled Finale: A direct four ace assembly with a gambling theme ends with the four aces appearing back on their original packets.

Small Packet All-Backs: Three kings are shown to have backs on both sides. All three cards are then shown to be duplicates of a selection and finally all the cards are shown to be aces.

Revisiting The Card Case Collectors: Three signed cards are placed between the four aces and all are placed into the card case. Four kings are now displayed and they magically capture the signed selections between them. The selections then vanish to join the aces back in the box.

Techniques demonstrated and explained include:
Hofzinser Card Pass To Full Bottom Palm, Ackerman Varies Kelly, Ackerman Varies Kelly to Full Palm, New Convincing Control, Minus-One Bottom Deal, One-Handed Center Deal Variation, One-Handed Center Curry Change, Swing-Cut Bottom Palm, The A.B. Bottom Palm, Spooky Altman Trap, The Slip-Shod, Thoughts On The Zarrow Shuffle, Bottom Deal & Routines, Ten-Handed Poker Stack, and much more.

This two-and-a-half hour DVD contains a wealth of knowledge that anyone who is interested in card magic should study and benefit from.

Quality shoe but with a slight squeak.
Size: 10 Wide, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
Nice shoes with the classic Penny Loafer design. Fit was better than another brand I tried. Only reason not 5 starts is disappointment due to a slight squeak at times when walking.

Exact item ordered, quick delivery
Size: 9.5, Color: Black Polished Full Grain
I ordered these black Cole Haan penny loafers for casual wear with jeans, khakies, and even business casual with slacks and a jacket. They've always worked perfectly for these uses. The Cole Haan version is the most versatile and still meets my sophisticated look criteria. I wear a 9 1/2 M with almost all other shoes. I have found Cole Haan to run slightly wider and slightly shorter. This fit will work with thin and no socks and a little loose in width. . I'd likely order a 10 N next time. I tend to forget this but it runs consistent with me for Cole Haan. 5 stars for the shoe and service. My bad on the slightly off fit.

Poor quality control - maybe outlet store leftovers
Size: 11.5, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
The two shoes were not the same size. They were both labeled 11 1/2 but one shoe was larger than the other and the fit was poor. I returned the first pair and ordered a replacement. This time the shoes were close to the same size but too loose and the left one has sewing issues. I've bought Johnston & Murphy for years because of the quality. These were to replace an existing pair of burgundy penny loafers that have finally worn out (even after several heal/sole replacements). That is the expected quality. I suspect Nashville Shoe Warehouse may be handling shoes that didn't measure up for the quality; more like an outlet mall than getting the J&M quality I've come to expect. Update: went to Johnston & Murphy site to buy "direct" from the manufacturer. There were several recent reviews where the shoes were long and didn't fit properly. Genesco - please step up the manufacture / crafting of these classic shoes to the level of quality they used to have.

My husband enjoys wearing these shoes. Very classy looking. They fit well. They arrived quickly. He liked them so much he ordered another pair in a different color which have worked out just as well.

Way too narrow
Size: 9.5 Wide, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
I ordered a wide in this shoe, but it was still way too narrow. I had to return them. Otherwise, it looked like a nice quality shoe.
