Absorbing Cell Technology
- The secret to Formatt's consistency in filter design lies in its unique "Absorbing Cell Technology" (A.C.T.); This unique process allows color correct dyes to be applied to optically pure, wafer thin absorbing cells and offers a controllability that ensures the smoothest grad lines and consistent color across the whole filter surface.
- This process is revolutionary compared with conventional filter dying techniques by eliminating the need to directly coat the glass surface itself; The repeatable performance gained through A.C.T. ensures that at any time you have to swap like filters for like filters mid shoot you can do so with confidence with no discernable differences in color or density.
- Each filter is guaranteed flatness to a maximum 2-wave value and comes with an individual reading from a laser interferometer; Every filter is carefully verified with a densitometer and spectrophotometer to ensure consistent and accurate transmission, before leaving the factory - the result is an absolute purity of image that eliminates any unwanted colorcast caused by conventional greenish soda-lime glass.
Ultraviolet Filters
- If desired they can be left on the lens at all times for protection
- Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details
- Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees

One of the most important books in our home.
Format: Hardcover
This is a wonderful book that truly distills the new challenges and opportunities of parenting. Not simply a recitation of information telling you what should be done, but written in a way that left me thinking “Ahh okay.” We’ve had the challenge of seeing the behavior and trying to get to an end result with our daughter that we feel is appropriate. Now I see how I can make better connections to get there, such as code switching or reevaluating expectations.
The chapters flow well and each section is broken down multiple ways which helps me reinforce the ideas and suggestions. As I’m reading the various sections, I feel seen as a new parent who doesn’t want to show off vulnerabilities or inexperience because I’m her Dad; I should know everything to give her the best life possible. Many uncertainties are plainly talked about and we are given encouragement. One I must remind myself is that feelings aren’t facts.
Our daughter is only two, but we feel much better prepared as we all grow. The only part of the book that really isn’t helpful for us is chapter 45: Welcoming a New Baby. Nope! We were blessed when our daughter arrived and her feet will be the only ones that go pitter-patter.
Do your whole family a favor and check this book out.

The most helpful guide for YOU and your toddler!!

I just have to say thank you to Devon and her team!! This book is intended for toddlers (1-5), and I even find the advice still helpful for my oldest who is past toddler stage! I have always loved Devon’s courses, and as a book ambassador, I was able to read this book before launch day. It’s exactly what I was hoping for! It has bite-sized chapters that are so easy to read (and you don’t have to read them in order - you could choose any topic)! Especially love all of the specific examples throughout (so that you actually understand how to apply the lessons!) and that she’s so encouraging (no Mom-guilt!). Highly recommend!!!
