SPA Performance has developed a must have for 911 Turbo (997.1) builders

The stock plenum are made out of plastic, which may work well for the stock engine, but when it comes to getting more out of this engine, this may be a limiting factor.

With that in mind, SPA Performance has developed a plenum 100% made of cast aluminum, with 5mm wall thickness, which will allow builders to work further on this engine, with no worries regarding the plenum’s integrity.

 

The plenum was designed to work with an 82mm throttle body (not included in the product), standard on the Porsche 911 997 GT3, which ensures greater flow for the set.

Stock hoses and clamps (not included) must be used to fix the manifolds and plenum.

I was skeptical that my ASURION warranty would be honored since it was not an easy process to submit claim and required following up several times. Not as easy as buying it initially for a product on check out at amazon. Once the burdensome process was completed on my end, It was easy load the gift card issued for the warranty to my Amazon account. Quick and easy to file a claim & get resolution!
I bought a blender from Amazon about 18 months ago and at the same time, purchased the Asurion policy to cover it. The glass pitcher cracked last week and I filed a claim with Asurion. Having never used Asurion before, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was blown away by the ease and speed with which my claim was resolved. Immediately after submitting the claim, Asurion sent a pre-paid shipping label with clear instructions on what to do next. After packing up the blender, taping the label on the front of the box (I had kept the original box the blender came in), and dropping the box off at the UPS location near me (Asurion's instructions included addresses for 2 drop-off locations in my tiny town), I had a refund in my email within hours. I was able to add the refund to my Amazon account simply by clicking on a button in the email and there it was, a credit in my Amazon account! As I said earlier, I'm blown away by how easy it was to file my claim and get a refund. Asurion made the entire process so effortless! Since the blender I had purchased is no longer available, I ordered a different one from Amazon (it arrives today - yay!) and I can guarantee you that I also purchased the Asurion policy to cover it.
