Engine Cold Air Intake Performance Kit

The AEM 21-532P Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Chevrolet Cobalt models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is relocated to the driver-side wheel well which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable mirror-polished powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Feels like a real upgrade, but maybe priced a little high

This is one of those things you don’t think much about until you switch to a better one. Right away you notice the weight. It actually stays put when you pull a sheet instead of sliding all over the counter or tipping up, which already makes it better than most cheap holders. The spring arm does help keep the roll under control so you’re not pulling half the roll by accident. One handed use works most of the time, but it depends on the paper towels. Thinner rolls tear clean without any effort. Thicker ones can still need a second hand here and there, so it’s not perfect but still better than a basic stand. Build quality feels solid. The finish looks clean and not cheap, and it wipes down easily. It definitely looks like something you’d keep out on the counter instead of hiding. Only real downside is the price. It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well, but it’s still a paper towel holder at the end of the day. You’re paying for the weight and design more than anything. If you’re tired of flimsy ones, this is a noticeable step up. Just depends if you care enough to spend extra on something this simple.
